Job Overview:

Total Grounds is a thriving professional landscape company and is seeking the right candidate to join our enhancements team as a crew leader. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping, plantings, mulching, pruning and maintaining outdoor spaces. You will work with a team of landscapers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

This is a seasonal temporary position. Weekly hours will be on a per diem basis based on business needs and scheduling demands.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Maintenance & Enhancements Crew Member 

​

• General laborer and crew member on spring cleanup and mulching crew

• Assist maintenance crews executing softscape projects and maintenance contract services for customers. 

• Core responsibilities may include plantings, mulching, weeding

• Follow the daily plan outlined by crew leader and execute tasks effectively

• Perform maintenance tasks using various equipment, including leaf blowers, trimmers, chainsaw, leaf sucker and edgers.

Quality Control: 

​

• Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure that it meets quality standards and customer satisfaction. 

• Maintain landscaping equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

​

Safety Compliance: 

​

• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to minimize accidents and injuries on the job site.

​​

Preferred Qualifications:

​

• Previous experience in landscaping is preferred 

• Knowledge of landscaping equipment and techniques preferred.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
