Job Overview:

Total Grounds is a thriving professional landscape company and is seeking the right candidate to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping, plantings, mulching, mowing and maintaining outdoor spaces. You will work with a team of landscapers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhancements 

• Join a crew of 1-2 landscapers and execute softscape projects and maintenance contract services for customers. 

• Responsibilities to include spring and fall cleanups, plantings, mulching, weeding, and prunings. 

• Read, comprehend, and execute tasks effectively, ensuring that the scope of work is executed and within budgeted hours.

Maintenance Operations: 

• Perform summer maintenance tasks using various equipment, including leaf blowers, trimmers, chainsaw, leaf sucker and edgers.

​

Quality Control: 

• Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure that it meets quality standards and customer satisfaction. 

• Maintain landscaping equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

 

​Safety Compliance: 

• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to minimize accidents and injuries on the job site.

​

Snow Operations: 

• Seasonally operate a plow truck, loader or be part of sidewalk crew during winter season.

• Assist with executing off season punch lists during winter months.

​

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping

• Knowledge of landscaping equipment and techniques preferred.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
