Total Grounds is a growing professional landscape company and is seeking the right candidates to oversee our Maintenance Division. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the estimating and executing of the summer and winter maintenance contracts for Total Grounds. Summer maintenance consists of overseeing 1-2 mow crews and a small projects crew that perform the seasonal mowing, trimming, prunings, cleanups and other routine landscape maintenance services. In the winter, the division is responsible for preparing the company for snow events, dispatching for salt-only events in addition to snow plowing events, and other off-season punch lists.

Qualifications:

A passion for making customer properties look amazing with strong customer service skills

2+ years of experience supervising a landscape or related crew

Knowledge of landscaping best practices, such as proper grass, shrub and plant care

Experience estimating and selling landscaping or related work

Experience operating and maintaining commercial mow equipment

Experience working in commercial snow plowing

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Schedule and communicate summer mow & projects crews daily tasks

Plan, schedule and communicate company wide dispatching for snow or salt events.

Quote summer and winter maintenance work for customers and prospects

Oversee maintaining divisions equipment and tools

Supervising daily truck & trailer set-up for crews
-
Training employees on proper equipment use

Prioritizing projects and ensuring quality at each customer site

Interacting with prospects and customers and following up on feedback

Documenting work in a timely manner

Learning and using programs to help with quoting, team communication, etc
