Job Overview:

The Landscape Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for the company’s landscaping services and divisions. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, developing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, management, excellent communication skills, and an attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Sales Leadership:

  • Lead, train, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring efficient processes from lead generation to payment and project follow-up.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Sales Operations:

  • Manage inbound leads, ensuring timely and effective responses.

  • Manage solutions and technology to maximize conversation rates, customer response and retention.

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers to secure repeat business.

  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach.

  • Monitor the sales pipeline and conversion rates to manage the flow and qualification of leads to maintain desired growth rate.

  • Conduct job estimates and develop competitive bids.

Team Management:

  • Interview, hire, and onboard new sales team members.

  • Set clear goals and objectives for the sales team and monitor their performance.

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the team’s skills and capabilities.

  • Partner with the sales team members to use job costing to ensure they are estimating as accurately as possible

Communication and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with team members, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate project details and timelines.

  • Utilize and manage company software tools such as Aspire and Asana for tracking and reporting sales activities.

  • Work with operations to ensure optimal communication and expectation management for contract and work order clients.

  • Develop educational marketing materials for current and new clients to educate them on our process and manage expectations.

  • Partner with operations to monitor project pipeline, identifying when to increase sales or when to slow down based upon forecasting

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for leadership.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance.

  • Utilize CRM software to manage client information and sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • in Sales Management

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong understanding of landscaping services and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and team members.

  • Proficient in using CRM software

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
